I cannot talk about the garage sale right now, maybe tomorrow.
For now, my heart is so full it may burst.
Do you remember, I've waited 4 and 1/2 years to have professional pictures taken of my children.
The wait was well worth it.
Marla, you are one talented, creative, and kind woman.
Thank you from the deepest of deep of my soul.
It was an incredible experience. Peaceful. Calm. Enjoyable. Natural.
I am forever grateful.

ReplyDeleteMarla's work is nothing short of amazing. to see her 'do her thing' was such a treat... the fake sneezing and singing the ABCs... I enjoyed being a part of it all. Glad my girl {Paisley} and I made the slideshow too.

Oh my gosh...He is just precious and so squeeeezzzaaabllleeee!! I love all the pics...well worth the wait!! :)
ReplyDeleteI saw some sneak peaks on Erica's blog, but I love that wrinkly tummy. Oh- so precious. It is always hard to decide and I know it will be for you! I always end up crticizing every last eyebrow to find the perfect shot- and they all are amazing- I just wouldn't be able to afford the nails to hang the picture if I bought them all. I think you need to change the proceeds of the garage sale to go to JM's cover shoot fund!
ReplyDeleteOK. Me- back again. I just watched the slideshow. There is no possible way you can choose one shot that is bad in there. They all make my heart melt- and I already have 2 of my own boys! That darn music. It does it everytime. And I wish there were numbers on there so you could be objective. Our photographer does the same thing and I just ooze into her studio like a big pile of mush and say, "I want them all".
ReplyDeleteSUCKA. I'm a big ole SUCKA. But I have 4,000 pics of my kids.
So, I'm a happy SUCKA.
Good luck choosing! You can't lose!
Wow. What an awesome talent and beautiful little subject. They're amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhen will the stork send a little guy or gal our way??

ReplyDelete...and HAVE to comment AGAIN. oh my, he is precious. i wish i could pick him up right off of my computer!!!
Darby - He is so precious! Every picture is amazing and it makes me so excited to have a baby boy- hopefully soon!
ReplyDeleteoh...I'm breathless. How amazing and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSweet pics!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! Amazing pictures! He is TOO cute for words!!! Marla did an AWESOME job!!!
ReplyDeleteI mean...have you had him working with a baby modeling coach??!!!! Those were absolutely perfect. I have two favorites. One-- where he is sitting (on the bed I think)and he has the little string from his hat in his mouth...something about the glimmer in his eye looks like he is saying "Strip Tease" :) The other one he is laying on the bed with the backdrop behind him, just head up and smiling perfectly...It looks so old-fashioned (for some reason) and just perfect. I am so SO happy for you. These are a treasure!
ReplyDeleteDarby, he is the most Precious baby!! He looks like he enjoys having his pic taken. What a little ham!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Alison B
Darby, these pictures are amazing. How Marla manages these poses with a squirmy little man is unfathomable to me. I appreciate the pics more, now that we have a little one.
ReplyDeleteOkay, more pics of our man coming up...maybe today. I just now got brkfst down me at 11:00! :) I've been running around doing laundry and any chores that I can while Rhys is down. How you do it with three is only by God's grace, my friend.
I love you and your sweet family, girl!
P.S. JM is SO cute! I think about his face all the time, maybe since we have a boy! :) I treasure the time we had together, and I hope for more in the Lord's timing. Maybe JM could teach our Rhys some things as they grow! :)
Say hello to Justin and big hugs and kisses to the kiddos!
Precious..... Mandy
