Donuts with Daddy & Loving Life in FL

Besides a nasty and thankfully short lived stomach virus that invaded everyone but me, we had a great weekend! We enjoyed the day outside on Saturday and had donuts on the porch Sunday morning! Morgan thoroughly enjoyed her donuts but Paige didn't get any, you might be able to tell by the picture that she didn't mind not having one!

After church on Sunday we made a quick trip to Dothan to see if we could find a place to live, no luck there but we were able to mark some trees at our lot that need to be cut... a small step, but a step nonetheless!

It was another gorgeous 77 degree day with sunshine and blue skies! We met daddy for lunch at MoMo's pizza and ate outside! (that's Morgan sitting at the table with her big girl drink) Another reason why we love living down south... eating outside in February... it can't be beat! Mom and Dad, have I convinced you to leave IL yet? :)

Time to get dinner started!!

Well here goes...

I wish I had started this before Morgan was born but I guess better late than never! I figured since our family and friends seem to be spread near and far this would be an easy way for everyone to stay in touch with our lives.

Our latest news is that we sold our house. This will be our 4th move in less than 5 years. This one will be very bittersweet. We love Tallahassee more than we ever thought we would. This is our second time living here and it has been even more special than the first. People tell me that the place where your children were born will always hold a special place in your heart. We feel that way about Anniston and we certainly feel that way about Tallahassee. We're particularly sad to leave our dear and precious friends and our church. We're headed to Dothan, AL to be closer to family and settle in once and for all... I say that with a smile on my face because I've learned nothing is permanent! :)

Well, I guess that's it for my first post to our new blog! I can't sign off with out acknowledging the amazing and miraculous recent birth of Mabry McKenzie Hanlon... the daughter of our dear friends LA and Andy! (see pictures below) Morgan and Paige look forward to meeting her, playing with her, and becoming close friends with her!! We love you guys and we're beyond thrilled for your newest addition!!
