Where my PEEPS at?

It's been a terribly CRAFTY Saturday here at our house! Thanks, Sister, for the idea to make a PEEP wreath. Anna, I don't know if you took her up on the idea or not, but I sure did! And boy was it fun! We made the wreath for GiGi (Justin's mom) for her birthday and we delivered it to her this afternoon. She loved it so much that she made us take it home with us! She knows were having some friends over for lunch after church and insisted that it hang on my back door for a day or two and then she'll take it! :) Isn't that nice? So, it's back at our house and since we're having some kids over here I figured I'd "PEEP" up the kids table with a PEEP tree... or three! I honestly can't stand the way these things taste but they sure are fun to play with! :) Thanks for the idea Sister, if the kids don't man-handle them I'm hoping to put them away for next Spring! And as you can see from the pictures... Morgan had an absolute blast helping. Thanks, Mom, for her "big girl" scissors. I've only busted her once trying to cut her hair with them! I screamed so loud I'm sure she'll never attempt it again!

Did you shellac them or anything? When we lived at Knox the deer would have eaten them right off our front porch at night! I'm thinking I'm going to make one too, but what if I attract critters?!

Oh and try them stale, YUM!!

I'm not sure about deer... I've never seen one around our house! I think we're safe. I didn't shellac them.... just glued them on! We'll see if they hold up to the birds & bugs!

i've heard (read) that peeps don't deteriorate... probably why they cause 'weight gain' too - HA! I love that you implemented my little wreath idea! Morgie is so sweet and such a good helper! Does she like Peeps? I wish she'd come see mommasissy and do a craft with me!

Ok, what a MESS I made with the peep tree...how in the world did you get the grass on there? Mine looked like a wild bush...I started over using ribbon instead!

Love the Wreath! I saw the idea on Erika's blog and Finn and I made it together, but ours does not look nearly as good as yours. For some reason I have a bunch of headless peeps!! FINN!!!!! Also, Michael emailed Erika last week about some design stuff, and she mentioned Eufaby (spell?.) We have the most precious picture of her when she was a baby. It is a black and white 8x10 that Annie took right after Michael found her. If you email me you address I will send it to you! My email is Kristanebrig@hotmail.com

Darby,
What is your kitchen faucet, and where is it from? I have been looking for a good 1 hole faucet. Does yours "dock" magnetically?

Darby,
This is so random, I know, but I ran across your blog about 3 weeks ago, while watching a movie with my husband (on a Friday night!:) I was clearly not into the movie!:)) and I just appreciate your blog SO much...the posts, the Scripture, the transparency!! Thank you! I don't even remember how I got to your blog that night, which baffles me! I was trying to think back, and I remembered going to some friend's blogs that evening, which must've led me to yours. Their names are Bryan & Ashley Johnson and Jeremiah & Abby Maddox. I know the Maddox's briefly through the Johnson's, and I saw Abby on Sunday night, which triggered my memory to describ & ask about your blog. I did, and we came up with "The Stickler's." So, I've found you once again, and you're on my favorites. I'm not a freak, nor a stalker, I promise. Please visit my blog at www.russellandshireen.blogspot.com. Have a great weekend!!

P.S. I'm have a twin sister, too! :) Married almost 7 months! Loving it! :) No kids yet...Lord willing, soon!
