Ahhhh... it worked!
PTL.
That's what Shireen kept saying on gmail chat yesterday. I had no clue what she was talking about. I don't text very often and I'm not up with the latest acronynms. I had to stop her and explain that I didn't know what PTL was.... she kindly offered her expertise: Praise The Lord, and also informed me that she didn't know what it meant until someone else explained it to her. So, I say PTL that the blog move seemed to work fairly flawlessly. I'm hoping y'all are comin' with me.
Speaking of things technical in nature.... do y'all Facebook? Do you know what I think about Facebook? Besides the fact that you can waste a LOT of time on there. I think they should have a pop up warning everytime you log on. It would look something like this:

i'm here!!! you are soooo right about weird dreams about folks you haven't seen in forever. oh, and i had a history teacher that would write PTL on our papers b/c they were basically all essay. if you got it right, that was what he wrote. sooooo funny cause i still say it!! better go. a little girl wants her mama. i literally crawled in here.

Darby this is SO pretty! Loving the new header more than words can express. In total agreement on the facebook thing. I just started a couple of months ago and I see it could be very dangerous, as if I don't spend enough time online browsing blogs!:-) Anyway, love the new address, can't wait to see more.

Love your comments about FB and the new header! I totally agree as I'm having some crazy dreams. I even had one last week involving a H.S. boyfriend who is a FB friend. I changed history in my dream - this time I broke up with him. It made me feel a lot better! :-)
Love your new look! After being contacted via FB by 2 old flames, I thought about putting a warning on my Profile:"If you are an olf boyfriend, leave me the hell alone!" Ha!

It looks great - I've been contemplating a change, too, but don't quite know what direction to go. I can't believe I haven't made the Facebook and dream connection yet, but it's totally true! Last night I dreamed I couldn't remember the combination to my locker . . .

YES, FB is neat at firt to reconnect, but wastes SO MUCH time, now. Considering deleting myself so i don't spend the time on it!

Darby- That is too funny that your mention weird dreams and facebook..... it tends to happen to me a lot! And being that I am pregnant I feel that these dreams are even more strange and I tend to remember every second of them!! Logging on to facebook at 2 am when I can't sleep does not help either!! Love the new blog!

FB is completely addictive and it's amazing how all of a sudden people you haven't thought about in years are a regular part of your day. Fun and weird at the same time! :) I also laugh b/c I can't believe the things I remember out of the blue - phrases and jokes that have been lying dormant in my head have been reawakened. It's as if I were still in high school!

Darby, you are incredibly - creatively clever.
My family and I moved from B'ham, AL in May of last year and a few months ago landed on your blog via BBTN. To my surprise, it was the post where you were posing in your newly made apron (adorable by the way) and my heart skipped a beat because your kitchen looked just like our B'ham home kitchen (from the photo) right down to the two different cabinet/drawer knows and handles. For a (very) brief moment I thought it was our beloved home.
