My whole life is laundry!! I swear that is all I over do. I wish I could say it gets better, but alas, no, it doesn't. I have found if I fold on my bed, which is pretty tall, I'm more inclined to put it away, it's close to the boys room and I hate the thought of putting it back in a basket to go to bed! Any thoughts on naming little boy Stickler?! Oh and I tagged you, did you get that?!

Darby,
There is something about folding and putting laundry away that's challenging for me too...my mom always gave me that job as a little girl-she must not have liked it either:-)Can't wait until Phoebe is older then I can pass that job to her:-)
This is a constant "to do" for me too! I am great at the washing and drying part.....but the folding, hanging, and putting away is challenging! It would be priceless to have a folding machine. I would be the first in line to get one!
My washer and dryer look the exact same right now! I put the clothes on the steps after they're folded for the kids to take up to their room, but somehow, they don't see them!
at least yours is in your laundry room, mine right now is all in my den all over the sofa's and tables, and some is actually on my bed. I hope this makes you feel a little bit better:)
AMEN, i will buy that washer and dryer if you will invent it!! i can wash and dry all day--but getting the clean clothes back to their place in the closet or dresser is the hard part!! i figure, at least they are clean--
Ohhh I feel your pain. Folding and putting away laundry is the hardest of all chores. My husband and I have a deal though that I wash and dry and he does the rest, otherwise it sits unfolded for a very long time. One thing that might work is to fold right when you open the dryer door (as opposed to taking it all out) and having baskets for each room/person to place the folded clothes in.
AMEN!!! I feel like that is all I do around here too!!
Darby,
Okay, so I'll comment...I am from MS & have been reading your blog for a while. I have known Mrs. Robin Brookshire forever & found your blog through hers. I laughed outloud when I saw your laundry as mine is the same way as we speak (but I am blogging & not folding..no wonder it is a mess!). Just wanted to say 'hi' & let you know I 'stalk' your blog..hahahha. I think your girls are darling & I am most impressed with your creative ideas (we love bows!).
Have a wonderful day!
Brittany
What IS it about laundry? The rest of my house can be pristine and I still have piles of laundry to fold and put away (but at least I can shut the laundry room door so I can pretend the house is clean!
I've been loving your blog and am adding you to my roll!
That invention could make someone VERY rich!!!
