Day 6:: announcement and the 3rd purchase

my husband

After great contemplation and a few old-fashioned Southern bourbon drinks my husband accepted his nomination for public office from the front steps of Hibernian Hall. Fortunately his reputation remains unscathed due to the fact that I totally bailed on my "sassy wedding outfit" which reminded me more of a female rockstar and thankfully found this number {straight off the clearance rack} 2 hours before the wedding in the hotel lobby. Sister, has recapped our trip here.

Shortly after his acceptance speech, we were whisked away by the Secret Service Weaver in Rickshaw One. BTW, he happened to be our "personal" driver for the whole weekend... if you go to Charleston and meet a dynamic Rickshaw "driver" get his cell phone number and he'll come get you wherever you are and take you wherever you need to go! They're so fun and fairly reasonable.

I can't even imagine the fun I would have and the trouble Jennifer would have to keep me out of if I was anywhere near an open bar in Charleston.

You totally AMAZE me! I talk about you often and even blogged about you once! No, I am not a stalker. Just a girl from Charleston :) You amaze me with your talent and your ability to raise your sweet children and have time for all of your 'crafts.' I have never met you but enjoy getting to know you by your blog. You inspire me to be a better person and mom ;)

Too funny! Good luck with the candidacy. And you look great- but the kicker is the pearls- it totally completes that candidate snapshot!

You both look extremely beautiful in this picture, but I am afraid I am confused. I need more words. Are you serious about public office? Am I gullible? Is Justin really in politics now?

I'd vote for him;) What was the other dress? Something crazy that your cousin would wear? Glad you all had a good time! Looks like a blast! I need to call you soon to catch up;)
