Keeping Honest
For those of you (Abby!) who were so impressed with my sprouts and my "healthy" eating... I thought I'd keep myself honest and let you know one of my other favorite snacks these days.
I also thought it would only be appropriate to show you how many I ate last week...
While I do love sprouts and fresh veggies, I also love Little Debbies.... it's all about balance, you know?
We had a great weekend and it was nice to be around the house for most of it. The girls are all better (Praise the Lord!) and it makes for a much happier little family! I snapped a few pictures of them this weekend and thought I'd share.
Having a pregnant mommy can be very hard on 2 little toddlers, my patience are short and sometimes I get upset over things that really aren't that big of a deal. But there are somethings about having a pregnant mommy that can be really "cool" (as MCS would say), like stopping by Dairy Queen for ice cream and french fries after we had DINNER at church Friday night! :)
I really couldn't resist taking this picture... can you blame me!?
This is pretty typical for Paige in the morning... she's not a morning person... can you tell!? But she can eat a whole bowl of cheerios with milk and not spill any... pretty impressive for 19 months!
Sister inspired me to make some cafe curtains for my kitchen windows... just thought I'd share!
We're off to the upholstery shop for the last of our goodies... pictures will be coming soon!

Loved the pics of the girls. Glad you are all better. I am also a big fan of The snack cakes.Robin
Tripp has been sick all weekend with a double ear infection. His fever spiked at 104.5! I was so nervous, the most he ever had was 102.5. He's feeling much better now! I'm glad you all are feeling better!
I love the new pictures. I didn't realize that Paige is only 3 months older than Emma Raines, Emma Raines still has a long way to go before eating a bowl of cheerios without spilling: )! I like your cafe curtains. I've been wanting to make some for my kitchen window, but my sewing machine is back in Atlanta. I hope y'all have a wonderful week. Can't wait to see house pictures.
I LOVE Swiss Cake Rolls when I'm preggo!! Oh and def DQ too. My favorite, when expecting, is the Waffle Cone Chocolate covered strawberries sundae with chocolate ice cream. When I'm not pregnant I won't even eat an ice cream cone, but get me pregnant and I'll eat the entire DQ store. Gotta love those hormones.
Hey, did you make Paige's dress? I was inspired by you this weekend and went to a Viking store to look at sewing machines. Unfortunately it will be YEARS before I can save up enough money to buy one. It was fun to go look, even the boys has a blast watching that machine embroider their names on the fabric!
girl - you know you've got to keep it real with the little debbie's! those pictures are sooo cute! can't wait to see what comes back from the upholsterer!
My great-grandmother ALWAYS had those in her pantry :) Yum....
(Ask E about the corn - it's super good!)
Sweet Darby! Did you know that I'm a regular reader of your blog!? heehee... anyway, couldn't resist a post, especially when I saw the Little Debbie shout-out. I literally FIGHT myself every time I'm in the grocery store NOT to buy those things. I'm not a huge sweets fan, but Debbie knows what she's doing, huh!?:) Anyway, I guess when I'm pregnant, that will be a great excuse!:) My husband and I LOVE looking all the pics of Morgan and Paige. What BEAUTIFUL girls you have! Glad to hear all is well... would love to see you sometime on the 'ol Plains. Much love to you!

mmmmm.... your blog and these comments are making me hungry. :)
it's always so good to see a little update on your sweet family!
So glad everyone is feeling better. I have that fabric from your curtains on a chair and LOVE it. Miss you all!

I am so thankful to see that you eat more than sprouts. I have actually gone down to my pre-pregnancy weight and am now rapidly climbing back up. Somebody forgot to tell my tummy that I wasn't still preggers! Enjoy those little Debbies...I'll be enjoying my Oreos over here.
