Seeing Red!

Paige + Coffee Table = bloody mess
N0 mommy wants to see her baby like this! We were on our way out the door last night for a K-Life banquet when the babysitter comes running to me with Raiger covered in blood. (This picture was taken over an hour later--- after we cleaned her face, arms, hands & legs.) Needless to say, we didn't make it to the banquet (well, Justin did later) but we rushed to the pediatrician's office (which thankfully has "after hours" and had a quick consultation. All teeth were OK! Praise the Lord! The internal upper lip laceration looks as though it will heal on it's own! Praise the Lord! And she still wants that paci. The dress is soaking and hopefully Morgan is right, "Mommy you can get those stains out!" We'll see.

We had a great weekend at the retreat! I'm off to the dr this am to drink some lovely orange or grape sugar loaded soda for a glucose test! I have to fast which makes for one hungry mama! Ok, I'll update more later!

Bless her heart! I'm glad she's okay! That's a scary sight when you don't know what happened and where the blood is coming from! Try putting hydrogen peroxide on the blood, that should get most of it out! Good luck!

Darby! I've been praying for your trip! I guess I forgot to pray specifically that Paige wouldn't run into the coffee table! :) Sad! She's so brave! Look at those sweet eyes! I'm so sorry that happened...you just never know what's next! Well, y'all try to be safe, and tell Paige she's one brave young lady! In fact, tell Morgan she is, too! I'm sure she's been very helpful and comforting as a big sis through all of this!
Love you guys!

P.S. Really excited about Memorial Day weekend if it works out!! :)

I am glad to hear that Paige is ok! I can't imagine seeing a baby sitter running toward you with your child covered in blood.
I am also glad that your family is safe and ok from the earthquake. That is so scary!

poor girl! that looks horrible - I can only imagine what she looked like before... that must have been quite a scare. It's amazing how tough kids are! I had to do the glucose test twice since the first time said I was borderline diabetic (from the preg)...not fun!!! I hope your tests went well this morning though :)

Oh, Little Paiger!!!!!!! I'm sorry for that precious little girl! Glad she's okay! Have y'all been doing K-Life? I saw on their website that Dothan is the only place in Alabama. Very Interesting! I'd love to hear more about it and what y'all are doing with it!

Poor Paige. That picture just breaks my heart. She looks like she weathered the accident quite well though...I dread the first time something like this happens to the Finster. Give her a kiss from us to make her ouchies feel better!

Poor thing - the mouth is the WORST! It bleeds the most and there's so little you can do! It does heal the fastest and obviously paige can still use the paci so all is well!
