oh spit!

On both shoulders.

I want to blog. Really I do.

But my son, he likes to cry {and spit up} and well right now he's crying and I'm not good at typing with 2 hands, much less 1.

And I really need to clean my house.

I have so much I want to share with you!

But it will just HAVE to wait.

Perhaps tomorrow or Friday will be good! I have a sitter Friday. Her name is Annie, I really like her and I've only met her once for about 8 minutes. She needs me and I need her! Don't you just love arrangements like that? I do. She has children of her own. There's something comforting about leaving your children with someone who's actually had children.

Ok, I wasn't going to blog. I was going to clean my house and here I go!

Good night, friends!

Peace out,
You can call me "Boss-Woman"

Spit happens...especially with Knox Lane in your arms! Believe me, D, I feel your pain on the spit-up...he goes through 2-3 outfits at daycare each day...still. Good Luck on Cleaning the House (mine is too dirty for words!)

My daughter spit up SO much when she was a newborn and for many months afterwards... not fun (for either of us). I'm curious as to what you've been up to (though I don't know how you manage to do the things you do with 3 kids!). Enjoy the break on Friday! :)

I really do miss you blogging. However, your job is with those little ones and you do that so well no one should complain. Just hurry back to us with all the news. Bless you!

1. You're so dang skinny.
2. Don't you love how all of your shirts end up with spit up on one or both shoulders?!?
3. Annie will make a huge difference in your life.
4. We ALL understand, holy smokes you have 3 offspring under the age of 4!!!
5. Spit happens.

Can I be TOTALLY annoying and give you advice? (Only because I am excited that it actually worked for me...it wouldn't be fair not to share). Addie was spitting up, actually, projectile vomitting, and I started nursing her on one side, waiting 25 min. then finishing the other side. She stopped! Just like that. And believe me, it was BAAAAD. It's worth a try?

Good morning, Darby!!

I hope you were able to conquer some cleaning last night! Gosh, I know it makes me feel so productive to just get it done! Of course, you have 3 little ones demanding your attention, which could cause a bit of a challenge. :)

Jenn's being induced as I type! I'm so excited for them!!

Love you, friend!

love the black shirt/spit combo! i will go to pick up a dark shirt and think - "do either of the boys have a cold??" funny how that can become a deciding factor in what to wear!

Darby, I have been reading your blog for some time now. Just decided to leave a message! :) I love the love you have for your kids and the Lord. Thanks for blogging! By the way, I read your sister's blog too! I have a niece whose name is Paisley! :)

Who doesn't want to blog instead of clean, don't worry you are NOT alone.

so fun!! if it doesn't seem like enough people will be able to do it, then we will just make plans at a different time. but it just sounds too fun not to try! we used to rotate christmas/thanksgiving, but now that i have a jillion kids, we would need a uhaul to get everyone and the gifts down to dothan! so we just do thanksgiving down there and let the grandparents travel to us around Christmas!

but thanks for offering to help! i will surely let you know!!

lawd i have lost my mind...i didn't mean to say "thanks for offering to help." i think i had someone screaming in my ear and someone else asking me to do something else. you know how it is. my brain meant to say "thanks for offering to be there!"
