Will I...

see any of y'all at the Auburn vs. Tennessee game this weekend?

picture stolen w/o permission from the blog of my friend Jennie-Marie
I've become best friends with this all week. Which is by far the best pump on the market... if you're expecting a baby this is all you need... trust me, I've been doing this for almost 4 years. I have the expensive "big mama" and I'm just not all that impressed and I prefer not to be plugged in and tied down.

Anyway, we're planning a night out on Friday and a day trip on Saturday so I'm stocking up for the little man! Will any of my blogging friends be there?

I never leave home w/o my "pump in style" - does the manual one really work??? I've never tried one!!! I feel "attached" and always plugged in, but it has gotten me through 2 full years so far - 8 months to go and I'm thruogh forever - sad, but happy!

I am suppose to be there! My husband is over the athletic fields on campus so I am at all of the games! I'll be in section 3 wearing orange.

I used the "medela mini electric" for all 4 of the offspring. Loved it.

Blushing confession: I used to discreetly pump while driving back from a day at the Mart in downtown Atlanta on occasion. Yes, I'm crazy. But try having a boob or two that's about to burst with milk! Not to mention the drive home was at least 45 minutes, so great use of time.

Hope you enjoy your Auburn game.

Hi it's Lauren (Shannon's friend), the one who made the FSU wreath. Shannon and I have decided to try our hand at sewing and we were wondering if you have ever made a nursing cover, and if you had a pattern that you recommend or any tips? Have fun on your dates!
Thanks So Much
Lauren

D-bone! I wish I could join you on the Plains this weekend! Please cheer loud enough for the both of us! (after reading your last post about the pumpkin bread outing to sam's-i'd say you're fully ready/deserve a weekend in Auburn-but that potty mouth is suppose to be reserved strictly for game days-REMEMBER!!?!?) HAVE SO MUCH FUN! I'm EXCITED/envious of that adventure! take pictures for us! LOVE YOU!

Ha- too funny Darby. I used the same pump as you with Fin. I will never forget the sound that machine makes. I used to get so annoyed as I was sitting (usually on the floor) pumping and the machine would be chiming away, "you the man, you the man, you the man." At least that is how it sounded to me:-)

Hey Darby! It's Allyson Etheredge Dozier (originally from Dothan) and a XO sister from Auburn. We've never left the plains. I'll be around this weekend. WAR EAGLE!!!! Safe travels!

Seriously? The manual pump? I'm shocked and pondering....maybe I'll have to try that one out instead of the "big mama" with our next one. We will be on the plains. Ann and Brannon will also be there and Mary Elizabeth Hicky is coming into town as well.

We'll be there on the library lawn right across the street from the Fiji house. Enjoy your weekend!

I loved the Medela Single Deluxe Battery/Electric Breastpump. I agree, no need for the double crazy pump especially if you don't do it all the time. Of course, my problem is usually the baby taking a bottle. Not the pump :)

There's no better place to take a road trip! We're taking the boys tailgating but watching the game with some friends at our house. If y'all need a place to regroup, let me know! We're right on the way to 169, so if you need anything, we're here! Hopefully we'll see you tomorrow!

Fond memories of arriving and looking down only to note, that there was leakage....due to failure to leave an appropriate pad there in the bra. Funny, now that my kids are beyond those days, I miss them.
I miss the time bonding with there little bodies, and thinking what miracles, both babies and boobs.

I wish-- Mom, Dad, Whitney and Ben will be there but alas... baby's on the way and I can't travel. That's a good reason to stay home though I think. ;o)
