Unfortunately I didn't get to see it, Darby, BUT my girlfriend Heidi and I just went for a bike ride together and she told me all about it! GO USA!!! YEAH!!
Glad you liked the picture! :)
I'll email you some others right now. :)
have not missed a single swimming medal!! i'll be glad when he is done tonight so i can get some sleep...like you and i aren't deprived enough!
Way to go USA!!!!! No, I didn't see it but I love your enthusiasm.
It was AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!!
Our TV has been on non-stop Olympics and I love it. I especially love watching it with JJ and getting inside scoop on the athletes and what goes on behind the scenes.
It was awesome! And have you noticed how many Auburn swimmers are in the Olympics!??? There are a ton of them. WAR EALGE and Go USA!
WAR EAGLE!
yes. we were jumping up and down too--i'm pretty sure phelps is superman!!
the olympics are leaving me exhausted in the mornings--but i will be so sad when they are over!
Darby, the gymnastics all around made me so nervous I was sick to my stomach. The tension, compounded by the fact that it was 2 hrs past my bedtime - almost too much to handle. I'm watching the marathon now. I don't have near the interest when the Americans aren't in it! Boring!
you bet I did! We could not believe it! I mean, seriously, what is this guy made of? I'm sitting here on the couch waiting to watch him swim tonight for his 8th! ;)
8 gold medals ----- WOOT!
It was quite an intense moment! And he went 8 for 8! Amazing! We have been enjoying the Olympics.
War Eagle!!!
Hey Darby! Just wanted to say hello and leave a comment. I havn't been able to blog for various reasons. I love Mr. Phelps and have enjoyed watching him swim. It sounds like you all are doing well and adjusting to life with the little guy. I can't wait to see pics of his nursery..did I miss those??
It was GREAT!! He is amazing!!
So amazing! Americans on this side of the world are going so crazy! Will happened to be on the same flight as the swim team going to Beijing from Singapore so he met the one and only. He said they were all so nice and so pumped up. Auburn was represented also- the best of both worlds!
I am glad it's over- my legs are so tired from all that kicking I did to get him through it! By the way- great picture of him- which lense did you use?
darby, i was a couple of years ahead of you at AU & an alpha gam & found you & your sister's blogs & love reading both! what a great shout out to michael phelps! we are olympic-obsessed in my house! i have lost too much sleep staying up late to catch every minute!
